| Team Vegan does Bike The Bays |

Six Team Vegan members braved the crowds and risked life and limb to participate in the annual Bike The Bays fun ride in Auckland. Starting at Orakei Reserve the ride went toward the city, turned at Mechanics bay and then went back out to St Heliers where it went up Cliff road and down again, back to Orakei Reserve. Those doing the 20km versions (4 of us) stopped there while the 40km participants did another loop! Weather was great, atmosphere was friendly and we all got home safely without any prangs, which is more than I can say for a number of participants. Check photos from the day in the gallery!  |
